The subway station at Oslo central station is called "Jernbanetorget". From Jernbanetorget, take the westbound subway lines 3 (Sognsvann) or 5 (Storo) to the subwaystop called "Blindern". From Jernbanetorget it should take about 9 minutes. Oh, and by the way, Oslo's subway is called T-bane, and the sign for a T-bane station is a large blue letter "T" inside a blue circle, as you can see at the end of this line --->
There should be a subway-train heading for Blindern approximately every 7th minute. A map of Oslo's subway can be found here.

By Tram
The Tram lines number 17 and 18 stops at the University. Line 18 can be boarded at the central station and line 17 is best boarded at one of Oslo's central squares, called "Stortorget". A map of Oslo's tram-lines can be found here.

By bus
Not a good choice for first-time visitors to the University of Oslo, subway or tram is recommended.
